The town of Fishtail, Montana, population 123, is just eight miles up the road from Bench Ranch. Here, at the General Store you can step back in time and buy supplies, get beer and wine, have a sandwich or a burrito at the deli or, in winter, warm yourself by the wood burning stove.

Tippet Rise Art Center is a destination for music and sculpture nestled in Montana’s countryside, offering breathtaking performances and showcasing large-scale art installations amidst the natural beauty of the landscape.

Just 45 minutes away, the charming mountain town of Red Lodge, Montana features art galleries and tourist shops for hours of exploration and reportedly more restaurants per capita than any other Montana town to eat, drink, and relax.

Beartooth Highway:

A trip to our neighborhood would be incomplete without a drive to the top of the world via the Beartooth Highway, said by CBS correspondent Charles Kuralt to be: “The most beautiful roadway in America.” The highway, U.S. 212, leaves Red Lodge, Montana, climbs 11,000 feet to Beartooth Pass, and plummets down to the northeast entrance to Yellowstone National Park. Taking place throughout the year all over Montana, nearby rodeos include the Pros at Red Lodge in July and multiple dates in Billings. Native American Culture
